Class Descriptions
Acting
Student actors (kids, teens, & adults) learn, or advance their knowledge of, the craft of acting through continued focus on movement, voice, & responding truthfully in the moment. Students develop a deeper understanding of creating characters through exercises exploring who, what, where, when, & why.
Create A Play
Theme, Structure, Story, Conflict, Resolution, & Outrageous FUN! Students (9-13 yrs.) pick a theme, & create improvisations based on that theme. We create a play, rehearse it, & perform it at the end of the session. (Reading is not a requisite.)

DramaBugs
Kids (2-4 yrs.) & their drama mamas (or papas) explore theater through puppetry, storytelling, & movement.
Adventures in Acting
Young actors (5-7 yrs.) create characters & theater using costumes, storybooks, & improvisation techniques. All acting exercises are game & story based.
Circus Arts
Who else wants to run away & join the circus? See Workshops for full description.
“The Chairs” Improv Troupe
“The Chairs” perform live improvised theater (here at The Chameleon) throughout the year. Actors (14-18 yrs.) in this troupe, now in its sixth year, rehearse in addition to their weekly class. By invitation only.
“The Chairlings” Improv Troupe
The youngest performance improv troupe at The Chameleon. Actors (9-13 yrs.) in this troupe rehearse in addition to their weekly class. By invitation only.
Guerilla Theater
Taking it to street, literally. Students (14-18 yrs.) will create & perform theater in the real world. We’ll study the many guerilla theater “attacks” already performed, create one, rehearse it, & live it, wherever the group decides.
