Della Moustachella A
combination of clowning, physical theater, comedy, improv, and circus
skills is how someone might describe what Della Moustachella does, but
not Della herself. Instead, she's more likely to fake trip over
something before she gives you a big hug and then asks you what YOU are
up to, glazing over her experiences performing all over the northwest,
teaching classes on play, and her ongoing studies with physical
comedy/clown instructors such as Avner the Eccentric (Maine), Phillipe
Gaullier (France), David MacMurray-Smith (Canada), and more.
Michael McCurdy spent his teens experimenting with stop
motion-animation, special effects, and making home movies with friends.
He went on to study at the Seattle Film Institute and now continues
filmmaking as a director, cinematographer, editor, and animator.
He currently films events, promotional videos, music videos, and short
films. His films emphasis visual story telling with action and physical
comedy frequently playing a strong role.
Nate Hughes began with the Humboldt Circus as a juggler and
clown in 2010. He has toured internationally with the Circo Que
Chilero, and with the New Old Time Chautauqua, an educational
vaudeville circus. For the past four years, Nate has taught circus arts
to children and adults in public schools, community centers, and
theaters. He has
performed and taught at numerous festivals on the West Coast including
the Benbow Summer
Arts and Music Festival and the Oregon Country Fair.
